PRAYER TEAM


Thank you for being interested in joining our Prayer Team! Please read the below carefully, as there are a few different ways to serve, each with their own requirements and prerequisites. You CAN join multiple, you will just need to submit this application separate times.

Spiritual gifts listed below are not a requirement to serve. We just added those to help you figure out where you may want to serve based on spiritual gifting!

Intercessory Prayer Team
Praying and interceding for the Church, covering prayer requests as they come in. This team has no in-person requirements, but just is praying for the Church wherever you are at and as the Lord leads.

  • Spiritual Gifts:
    •  Intercessory Prayer
  • Requirements:
    • Actively attending ACC
    • Time to set aside weekly to pray towards requests
    • An ability to honor confidentiality of prayer requests

Listening Prayer Team
Supporting other ministries at ACC by taking 15-30 minutes per opportunity to sit and listen to the Lord and see what He might say through you to our team. This is a remote opportunity to serve, just need a pen, paper, and some time to give to the team!

  • Spiritual Gifts:
    •  Prophecy, Words of Knowledge, Words of Wisdom, Discernment of Spirits
  • Requirements:
    • Actively attending ACC
    • Actively attending an ACC Community Group
    • Time to set aside weekly to pray over needs

Prayer Counselors (Sunday Serve Team)
This is what most people think of when we say prayer team, this is praying on a Sunday for our church and praying with the church by wearing a red nametag and being available for our people.

  • Spiritual Gifts: 
    • Hospitality, Encouragement/Exhortation, Mercy, Pastoring, Evangelism, Healing
  • Requirements:
    • Attending ACC consistently for at least one year
    • Actively attending an ACC Community Group
    • Ability to attend required team events (we don't do this often!)
    • Ability to serve at least one Sunday a month

Please do not feel any pressure to join more teams than you are able to commit to. Often, picking one and really committing to it is best, but if you want to join multiple, please do!
